What data we process

When you visit the site, the hosting systems automatically record some technical browsing data: IP address, date and time of the request, pages viewed, browser type, and operating system. This is needed to operate and protect the site.

If you write by email or call us, we process the data you share (for example name, contact details, and the content of the message) only to reply.

  • There are no contact forms, newsletters, accounts, or comments.
  • We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising, or profiling tools.
  • Typefaces are hosted on the site: they are not loaded from external services such as Google Fonts.

Why we process data and on what basis

Processing has these purposes and legal bases under Article 6 GDPR.

  • Operating the site and keeping it secure and stable: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Replying to requests you send us: steps prior to a contract and/or legitimate interest in staying in contact with those who reach out to the community (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).

The site does not collect data about visitors' faith. If you write to us of your own accord and the message contains information about your life or religious beliefs, we will use it only to reply, in confidence. In that case the basis is that you provided those data in order to be contacted (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR) and, if you are in contact with the community, the legitimate activities of a religious body (Art. 9(2)(d) GDPR).

We do not take automated decisions that produce legal effects concerning you.

Who we share data with

Browsing data are processed by the site’s hosting and publishing provider, Vercel Inc., to deliver and protect the service.

If you write to the email address shown, the message is handled through Google’s Gmail services.

We do not sell data and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Vercel and Google are based in the United States. Transfers take place under the safeguards provided by the GDPR, in particular the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses, according to those providers’ notices.

How long we keep data

We keep data only for as long as needed for the purposes described.

  • Browsing logs: for the period set by the hosting provider, limited to security and diagnostics.
  • Emails and requests: for as long as needed to handle the conversation and related duties; we then delete them, unless the law requires otherwise.

Updates

This notice may change if the site or our processing changes, for example if we later add a form or an analytics tool. The date at the top of the page shows the latest update.
